A carefully crafted business model is essential to succeed in the today's fiercely competitive global business. Below are some of the competencies that successfully company managers and owners are using to leverage their business to success.
- Crafting a superior marketing strategy that follows the product or service mission, aligned with the overall enterprise's mission, and implement it with discipline and tenacity.
- Assemble a good executive management team, where each player complement the other. Ensure that this core team is consistently staffed for a long period. Synergy and chemistry will be disrupted when the board is frequently changed. Keeping the same people on the board is one of the reasons for Microsoft's success.
- Mange the business very well, with discipline and intense focus on product or service improvement, customer acquisition, selection, and retention, and create a human resource.
- Turn out new product and services ahead of the marketplace and back it up with a great marketing plan. It is often the above average products that gets positioned in consumers minds because of their early release, followed with a great marketing plan, then the superior products technology that
- Need great operational and performance excellence.
- Hire talented people, spend money on intellectual capital. Creative people drive your business, and they are worth their price.
- Learn how to evaluate, explore and manage your intellectual capital.
- Be at the right place at the right time is about luck, but also about looking at the trends and anticipate the future needs and expectations.
