Altika is dedicated exclusively to servicing
the
needs of clients with liquidity and strategy consulting. What are your
fees? Altika will assess your business needs and the
success you are looking for to determine the correct fee structure. We
can be
retained for monthly fees of $2,500 to $20,000 with a set performance
and
hourly package or on an hourly advisory rate. Project type work has a
set
pricing structure. M&A deals & liquidity transactions are on a
contingency-based structure with a percentage of the total transaction.
We will
be paid in like kind, after the client has been paid. How does Altika differ
from other firms? Altika uses proven methodologies and due
diligence
in all subject areas to ensure success for all our clients. A transaction of any size is an enormous
undertaking. It is not surprising that CEO's with experience in
liquidity events
are the first to recognize the value of representation. For instance,
just
creating a compelling valuation model for an acquirer is extremely
difficult,
but absolutely essential to negotiating a fair market value. Our approach involves: valuation of each asset
assigned for liquidation or sale; identifying and researching targets;
preparing necessary Executive Summaries; contacting each target;
contacting
strategic alliances consisting of buy-side IP agents and patent
attorneys;
scheduling and attending meetings; creating and presenting valuation
models;
incubating competition; negotiating terms and conditions; and keeping
all
parties engaged through the closing of a deal. We sign service agreements and NDAs to cover
all our
representations, and provide constant communications of the progress
for each
campaign. Altika maintains strategic partnerships &
alliances with other M&A & IP firms and has a vast network of
contacts
with executives in various industries to determine liquidity event
execution
opportunities that our clients will benefit from.
What specific
patent and IP services do you perform? Altika’s associates and strategic alliances
can
perform patent searches; patent applications (US and PCT) for either
design or
utility patents;
patent disputes (e.g., potential litigation, infringement, or a domain
name
dispute); searches and applications for copyrights, trademarks, service
marks
and published works; intellectual assets valuations; sale or purchase
of
intellectual assets; and intellectual property legal questions. Altika work with enterprises to prepare
comprehensive liquidity and intellectual assets acquisition advisory
strategic
plans that outline the types of assets that would provide the catalyst
to
sustain the strategic plans, which will ensure success in the growth of
a
company’s product and service offerings. R&D efforts are often
enhanced
with the acquisition of intellectual assets, such as: new technology
patents or
processes. Can you work with

search of liquidating their assets, buying assets, starting a new
